I'm really drawn to Cassius -- but something about Sevro intrigues me. I liked Julian a lot before he died :(
I have already read the books several times, so I won't spoil anything!! But I do like how all the Golds are introduced at the start. They certainly aren't all completely horrible right away. I was inclined to like Roque and Cassius right away, even though Cassius is a bit stuck up even from the get go.
I agree, theres still a degree of humanity that Pierce Brown leaves in the golds and I can't help but feel sympathetic towards many of them. It leaves me almost torn between the golds and the reds.
I initially was siding with Roque and Cassius, even though I knew the Cassius friendship would eventually have to fall apart. I have to say I was always drawn to Sevro, because he just seemed to be bucking the odds. Agree with his giving the Golds a degree of humanity. I love that they're all so very flawed even though they're supposed to be these very perfect beings.
