Jaxon always seems to be out for Jaxon, and all the Mime Lords seem too much of like an employer and not so benevolent. So no, don't trust and haven't trusted him. He sees Paige as a valuable pawn that the other Mime Lords and Queens don't have, and she's more of a commodity than someone he truly cares for.
Yes I agree-- in the beginning part of me was like no, deep down he still has her back and at least if she stayed with him he would protect her. But you're right, in the end he's looking out for himself and himself only.
Wow I didn't even think of that but you could really be right..!! What a great theory. Then who do you think the Rag and Bone man is?
I'm only just into Part 2 right now, but I definitely do not trust Jaxon. I kinda think he might die in this book. He seems to be going a bit crazy, and I think it would be interesting to see him and Paige fight at the Scrimmage.
Ahh I can't wait until you get to the Scrimmage part- it's SO INTENSE! (but so good).
Jaxon definitely has a few things up his sleeve...
@Asnow89: I can't wait either! I hope to get into the 300's by tonight!
@Acardwell415: Spoilers :P (but I don't really care x3)
@Bloody18 - Sorry! I moved my reply to a diff thread. :)
@Acardwell415: heh, I'm okay will be spoiled anyway, so it's okay :P
After that ending? I wasnt sure up until the last two pages, but now I definitely dont trust him. And i think I'll struggle to ever trust him
