My thoughts exactly! Could always use a new good book series :D
So I actually just started Shadow and Bone last week and so far I am loving it (dare I say more than City of Bones?)! The characters are really well written and it's a quick read. Only 200 pages in so far...but I can't put the book down so hopefully I'll finish soon!
